In the morning put a pinch of Eyewash in a tablespoon of well-water, or RO water and cover it. Don't use city water which usually has chlorine in it. In the evening strain the plant particles out with a fine cloth. This can be eaten. Then drop the water in the eyes at night before bed.
This eyewash has been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years for cataracts, glaucoma and for dry eyes. There are other treatments specific to the eye imbalance besides the Triphala so please see the Vaidya for the whole treatment.

One such good example of use of Ayurvedic formulation against cataract is the use of Triphala which showed good effect against cataract in in vitro and in vivo" (Gupta et al., 2010a; Mahajan et al., 2011) studies and also was evaluated clinically and showed promising results. https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fphar.2019.00466/full

"According to Ayurveda, dry eye is not merely an ocular surface disorder, rather this is one of manifestation of the deranged metabolism/depreciation of body tissues. Ashru (tear film) is the byproduct of Rasa, Meda, and Majja dhatus[9] and without normalzing/altering them we cannot treat dry eye syndrome optimally.
Vata-pittahara oral, local, nasya (Snehana) therapy was initiated with the prescribed medicine. But Vata was managed first with Anutaila nasya and Dashmool kwatha + Castor oil orally. A close watch on Jatharagni (digestion) was kept and corrected as well. With this treatment, ocular discomfort was relieved" https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3157110/
"Cataract is a major cause of blindness leading to 50% of blindness globally.[23] Surgically, cataractous lens can be replaced by artificial lens; however, epidemiologically the problem is not reduced owing to expense and post-operational complications of surgery.[24] For these reasons, the present study focused on a pharmacological intervention for cataract, in particular, scientific validation of Triphala in the treatmentof cataract". https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3117320/
