Haba Baraka is the traditional preparation of the organic seed, Nigella Sativa, roasted at low temperature, then ground and added to raw honey. This four-ounce jar contains balls made in this way that can be eaten each day.
For 1400 years it has been used in the Middle East for auto-immune disorders such as allergies, inflammations, lupus, muscular dystrophy, Hasimoto's, Sjogren's syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, pancreatic cancer, leukemia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome etc. The traditional dose and preparation varies somewhat for each disorder. It is considered a healthy alternative to cortisone based therapy. Mentioned in both the Bible and the Koran, Mohammed said, " Haba Baraka is a cure for everything but death."
Please keep in mind that this is just one formula used in treatments for leukemia, pancreatic cancer etc. There is a different and specific protocol for each of these. For leukemia for instance, since there are five types of leukemia recognized in Ayurveda--there is a different protocol for each one. You can make an appointment for a consultation with an Ayurvedic physician here http://www.curanderahealing.com/healing-work.html. This is advisable for chronic serious issues.
Haba Baraka is also used for Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). This autoimmune disease affects both the large and small intestine, and can manifest as either Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. Crohn’s disease, can take shape in various forms: it can occur in the ileum-end of the small intestine (ileitis), the ileum and colon.
Symptoms of Crohn’s, if centralized in the small bowel, can include anemia, diarrhea, weight loss, pain and bleeding, while Colitis may only involve some of these symptoms. Crohn's and other inflammatory bowel diseases are just about unheard of in developing countries. As it is an auto-immunce disorder it usually responds well to Haba Baraka.
Ulcerative colitis, on the other hand, affects only the colon and large intestine, and presence of the condition indicates inflammation of the colon. Signs of this may include diarrhea, bleeding, cramping and pain, all of which can become more severe over time.
Those with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) do not display pathologic abnormalities; rather, they experience symptoms that can wax and wane such as bloating, constipation, diarrhea and a feeling of fullness. Their bowel does not seem to work properly and can produce a variety of symptoms that make the patient aware that their gut doesn’t seem to work. There appears to be some relation between the nervous system of the gut and the gut immune system.
