Ayurveda understands that sleep apnea is the result of digestive problems. To recover from this problem with natural Ayurvedic therapies one should do the breathing exercise that is included in the package before each meal and take Trikatu before each meal as well.
Trikatu
4 oz. container of powdered spices in biodegradable bag. Take 1/3 tsp. in hot water ten minutes before each meal.
2 ounce $20.00
4 ounce 38.00
Translating as "three pungents", Trikatu contains the herbs pippali, ginger, and piper nigrum. The powerful heating quality of this combination is traditionally used to enkindle the digestive fire and to effectively burn fat and natural toxins. Trikatu supports a healthy metabolism, allowing nutrients to be properly digested and assimilated, and is especially helpful for kapha people to lose weight. It is also a rejuvenative for kapha, supporting healthy lungs and uncongested breathing. It has been used to mitigate sleep apnea for thousands of years. The pranayam (breathing exercise) known as Kapalabhati should be done with this formula before each meal to end sleep apnea. It is best to adopt the diet right for constitution if you have this imbalance. If you are currently using a CPAP machine for sleep apnea we advise continuing to use it for at least three days after you start all three Ayurvedic therapies: taking a capsule before meals, doing the pranayam and the diet right for constitution. If you don't know the diet for your constitution, you can submit the required information and pay for the Ayurvedic deterimination here: https://www.curanderahealing.com/store/p144/Ayurvedic_Determination.html
According to Ayurvedic theory, poor quality food and inconsistent eating habits can create a dullness to the upper GI, which, if uncorrected, will result in further deviations from overall health. Specifically, it can lead to unhealthy food cravings. This creates a feedback loop, since the poor food choices driven by the cravings reinforce the digestive dysfunction.
"Millions of breathing machines used to treat sleep apnea have been recalled due to testing showing that the machine causes users to inhale cancer-causing toxins. Philips Dreamstation, a CPAP machine that was recalled, uses sound dampening foam that may degrade into particles and off-gas chemicals that are inhaled by its users. The FDA has noted the presence of black debris and particles within the device’s air pathway and says that breathing those in could result in serious injury which can be life-threatening or cause permanent impairment. The effects could lead to irritation or asthma and could even cause carcinogenic effects."

There are many studies with Trikatu showing that it increases the bioavailability of certain drugs. "Trikatu, as per Ayurveda’s Bhaisajyaratnawali is a compound herbal formulation containing three bitter herbs mixed together in equal quantities. Dried fruits of Piper nigrum (Maricha) and Piper longum (Peepli) and dried rhizomes of Zingiber officinale (Sunthi) are used to prepare this miraculous formulation. It is prescribed in Ayurvedic system of medicine for treatment of tastelessness, digestive impairment, and diseases of nose and throat such as chronic rhinitis/sinusitis, skin diseases, asthma, cough, frequent urination, obesity, and Filariasis. Trikatu is also added in various Ayurvedic formulations with a view to restore the disturbed “tridoshas- vatta, pitta and kapha.” It calms down the increased Vata and Kapha and increases the Pitta. It has pungent (katu) taste, hot (ushna) potency, light (laghu) and dry (ruksha) quality, and digestive (amapachaka) therapeutic effect. Modern pharmacological studies also revealed that Trikatu possesses the capability to enhance the bioavailability of various phytoconstituents and synthetic drugs if incorporated with them thereby helping in achieving the therapeutic goals. Apart from traditionally known health benefits, Trikatu also possesses immunomodulatory, antiviral, expectorant, carminative, hypolipidemic, hypoglycemic, antiemetic, and anti-inflammatory potential. Simply it is concluded that Trikatu is a miraculous combination which is needed to be explored more exhaustively to solve the bioavailability issues of allopathic, ayurvedic, and other traditional systems of medicines." https://www.researchgate.net/publication/329129608_Trikatu_-_A_combination_of_three_bioavailability_enhancers
